Adventdalen is the continuation of Adventsfjorden the small part of Isfjorden where Longyearbyen is located. We drove in to Gruve 7, where we started our 12 km walk. On the first part of the trip we had to cross an arm of the Glacier before we came up to the highest point at 500 meters. After that it was quit step downhill down Foxdalen to Adventdalen. The snow shoes can be useful also in swamps. At the hut where we had our lunch, you can clearly see that the Polar bear as tried to break into the hut. After 3 hours we were at the ending point the dog farm.The trip toke about 3 hours.
